How To Invest in The Black Coffee Company via Seed At The Table Crowdfunding Platform

Updated: Dec 17, 2023

The Black Coffee Company has partnered with Seed At The Table to officially launch its crowdfunding campaign. We put together a short step-by-step blog on how to invest in The Black Coffee Company on the Seed At The Table Crowdfunding platform.

Before you start, you will need the following information readily available to complete your investment:

  • Digital copy of your photo ID (you can take a picture of your Driver's License)

  • Social Security Number (we know that this is very sensitive informaiton, but it is required to verify identification)

  • Birthday

  • Phone Number

  • Current Annual Income

  • Annual Income (average from past 2 years)

  • Household Income (estimate)

  • Net worth (estimate)

The first step is to create an account/profile with Seed At The Table. You just need a valid email address to create an account. After you create an account, you are now ready to invest in The Black Coffee Company!

Next, go to The Black Coffee Company campaign page and click on the "Click here to Invest" green button (see image below).

Next you will provide information about yourself (name, birthday, social security number, etc.) and your income and net worth (these can be estimated numbers). See the images below of the information necessary to complete the process.

Next you answer the question whether you are an accredited investor. In short, an accredited investor is:

  • an individual with a net worth or joint net worth with a spouse or spousal equivalent of at least $1 million, not including the value of his or her primary residence

  • an individual with income exceeding $200,000 in each of the two most recent calendar years or joint income with a spouse or spousal equivalent exceeding $300,000 for those years and a reasonable expectation of the same income level in the current year

You DO NOT need to be an accredited investor to invest. However, there are limits to the amount you can invest if you are not an accredited investor. The amount you can invest is based on your household income (e.g. if your income is $200,000, the max you can invest is $20,000).
